THURSDAY


so on thursday we had in-n-out at the truck......yummy stuff





then kory kunes (which was the big speaker) spoke. this guy was awesome!!!!! he writes songs and he would get up and sing for us!! it was definitely the best part!!!!!


so then we all walked over to bro. halladay's house for a dance on his tennis courts. it was a black light dance. but it was kinda lame as the neighbors called the cops and they came!!!! and most of the guys were up playing pool. speaking of pools a lot of people were just jumping into the pool! i was like u people are insane!!!! but i had a lot of fun! :]]]

then around 11:30 i got home around later........and stayed up reading like normal.....which meant i think i finally went to sleep around 12:15ish......




FRIDAY






friday we all arrived at the church around 8. (that means i got up around 7 which means.....7 hours of sleep) we had breakfast and then bro. kunes spoke again. then we all went to oxnard beach!!! kacy chelsea heather miller and me and my dad drove in the car......when we got there it was totally overcast and cold!!! but we wanted to still go into the water so me and heather and chelsea braved the freezing cold and went all the way in!!!!! for like 10 feet (i dont really know but for awhile) it was SOOOOO ROCKY my feet turned YELLOW!!!!!! hahah so then we finally got past them but it was cold so we didnt stay in for long.......then we sat on the beach for awhile and decided to see if there was food.....which there was......we ate hamburgers and cookies and chips and watermelon!!!! hah then we went back to the beach and tim joined our group. it was me chelsea kacy holly tim sarah bythe and for a little bit heather. we sat there and talked and took pictures and it was really fun!!! when kacy sends them to me i'll post them cuz it was funny!!!

then we left, adding tim to our car, and drove to the nearby in-n-out for shakes and fries!!! then on the ride home heather kacy and chelsea took turn reading twilight out loud and tim me and my dad rocked out to sons of provo!!!!


then we went home and got ready for the music fireside!!!

this by far was the best fireside i thought!!!!!!

michael mcclaim was SO FUNNY and actually came down from the podium and talked to us and stuff. he would again like bro. kunes walk over to the piano and sing

it was like the forgotten carols all over again!!!!!!!!


afterwards was the LIP SYNC!!!!!!

it was SO MUCH FUNNNNNNN!!

first we all did That's How You Know from enchanted and me and kacy were ribbon dancers!! heather miller was Giselle and we had hippes, joggers, brides, construction workers and old people!!!!!!!! it was hard with a huge ward to fit on the tiny stage but was very interesting!!

then we did this opera mix and it was SO MUCH MORE FUN!!!!!! haha we were all wearing black with flashlights and shane was our conductor and the lights were the instruments i guess. then ben comes up lip singing and then we all go crazy and we're dancing and being insane! then shane gets mad and we all walk back to our spots and ben kara maren and charlotte lip sing for the rest of the song! it was HILARIOUS!


so then i went and slept over at kacy's house with chelsea. went to bed around 12:30




SATURDAY

wow.
one of the coolest things i have ever done.

we were to this school in LA and were going to remodel it. i thought we'd be doing things like planting and fixing up stuff which was what some people did.

but not my group.
we got to paint murals!!!!!!!!
and whoa that school looked AMAZING afterwards!!!!!!!!!!

basically, the whole school was PAINTED!!!!!! the COOLEST murals ever!!!!!!!!! we did the kindergarden area and painted little flowers and then a tricycle track!!!!!!!!

so after that we got to go home and relax...if you could call wat i did relaxing.....right liz? ;]

so then we came back to the church around 5 for kory kunes last talk. he was an awesome speaker!!! then we had like an hour and half testimony meeting which was interesting....lol tim still isnt really talking to liz or ben after that!!!!!!! hahaahaha

then we had the dinner which the room looked awesome!!!!

and then the dance started which was pretty fun......they play the SAME CDS for each dance so they get a little old but i had a TON OF FUN :]]]

all in all youth conference was amazing! i got like no sleep and ended up getting sick again but it was awesome! i was little unsure cuz the trek was so much fun and such a good experience but i had a ton of good experiences with this years and cant wait till next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
